Sourdough Made Simple (beginner friendly)
If sourdough has ever felt confusing or intimidating, this is where it finally starts to make sense.
This hands-on beginner workshop is designed to simplify the process and show you that baking your own bread at home doesn’t have to be
complicated. We’ll walk through everything step-by-step as you mix and prepare your own dough, with plenty of time for questions, conversation, and actually enjoying the experience. It’s relaxed, supportive, and beginner-friendly — whether you’re starting from scratch or trying again after a failed loaf or two. You’ll head home with your dough ready to bake, the tools to continue, and the confidence to keep going.

About the Facilitator:
I’m Jillian, founder of Rising Raven Wellness and I created these sourdough workshops to be more than just a class— I wanted them to offer
people a chance to slow down and reconnect through a unique, hands on experience. Over the past 3 years, I’ve taught 100+ people how to make sourdough in a way that feels simple, supportive, and truly doable at home. With a hands-on, relaxed approach, you’ll learn the process step by step while giving your nervous system a break from the constant rush. Sourdough invites us into a slower rhythm—working with our hands, being present, and creating something nourishing for both body and mind.
